It is likely that you will have been used to receiving information about your child's progress from their school or college.  It is therefore important to remember that students come to University as adults, and data protection regulations prevent us from sharing information about students with you or other third parties without their explicit consent.

Hopefully you will agree that this as a positive step in your child's development and reading the guidance outlined in these pages will have helped you to feel more confident about their ability to cope and make the most of their time at Cambridge.

If, however, you have a serious concern about your child's wellbeing whilst they are studying at Cambridge, please contact their College Tutorial Office in the first instance.
